REPORTS TO:  Director of Activities, Band Director, and Building Principal

 

 

REQUIRED PERFORMANCE AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1. Assist with band summer camp.
2. Assist with early morning marching band rehearsals.
3. Assist with home varsity football games.
4. Assist in 3 or more marching festivals (minimum 3, maximum of 5).
5. Assist with tutoring students auditioning for All District Band.
6. Participate in All District Band auditions.
7. Assist with tutoring students auditioning for All State Band.
8. Participate in All State Band Auditions (if needed).
9. Spring District Music Festival preparation.
10. Prepare for District Music Festival.
11. Participate in Conference Band.
12. Prepare for District Music Festival Solos & Ensembles.
13. Full concert band participation in State Music Festival.
14. Participate in the solo/small ensemble District Music Festival.
15. Prepare and accompany students to State Music Festival Solo & Ensemble.

 

 

 

SALARY:     6.5% of base teacher salary schedule to be established by the Board of Education.
