ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Computer experience in word processing, database, and spreadsheet
- Ability to manage diverse constituency groups including but not limited to: patrons, students, families, teachers, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent & skills for the successful performance of the tasks assigned.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent
JOB GOAL: To work with supervisors, staff, students, and parents to facilitate a smooth, positive operation of the school facilities.
REQUIRED PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take phone calls and messages, screen calls for administrators, and assist walk-in visitors and employees.
- Assist Director of Payroll, Director of Business Operations and the Secretary to the Board with monthly duties.
- Assist Director of Business Operations by working with school staff to compile information for DESE reports.
- Work closely with building secretaries and directors to ensure office runs smoothly.
- Year end cleaning and moving files.
- Open and sort mail, including mail runs when needed.
- Responsible for R-II local scholarships (gather all necessary paperwork from scholarship recipients to process payments to university or college and keep scholarship donors informed of balances and yearly recipients).
- Issue Athletic passes.
- Responsible for processing free and reduced applications, direct certifications, and sending home qualification letters.
- Update demographic information in SISFIN.
- Run transcripts for public when needed.
- Add monies to credit card balances when needed.
- Compiles Back to School Supplement.
- Other duties assigned by the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve month position. Salary to be established by the Board of Education.
EVALUATION: Each employee will be evaluated by his/her supervisor(s) on a regular basis according to evaluation procedures established by the Board of Education. Evaluations will be based on general expectations for all employees, and the specific responsibilities of the position being evaluated.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND VISUAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. Additionally, the employee may occasionally be required to push or lift up to 25 lbs. as necessary for the safety and well-being of others. Lastly, this job requires the employee to have the vision ability to read handwritten or typed materials, and meet multiple demands from several people while interacting with other staff and the public.
